DASH My Mug Ice Cream Maker 2 Pack Bundle, Half-Pint Freezer Mugs, Aqua

Product Overview

The DASH My Mug Ice Cream Maker 2 Pack Bundle is a compact personal ice cream maker designed for making homemade frozen treats in small, convenient portions. The Aqua bundle includes two half-pint freezer mugs, allowing users to prepare individual servings of ice cream and other frozen desserts at home.

Unlike large traditional ice cream machines, the DASH My Mug is designed around a small-batch experience. The freezer mugs are chilled in advance, ingredients are prepared and chilled, and the machine uses a motorized lid and stirring paddle to churn the mixture into a soft-serve style frozen dessert.

The My Mug can be used for homemade ice cream, gelato, sorbet, frozen yogurt, dairy-free frozen treats, and other customized desserts. The built-in ingredient chute also makes it possible to add compatible mix-ins such as chocolate chips, sprinkles, fruit, nuts, and cookie pieces during the churning process.

The two-mug bundle is especially useful for individuals, couples, small families, dorm rooms, apartments, and anyone who prefers making smaller portions instead of preparing a large container of ice cream.

Key Features

Two Half-Pint Freezer Mugs

The bundle includes two individual freezer mugs designed for personal portions. Each mug must be properly frozen before making a batch.

Having two mugs can be convenient because one mug can remain in the freezer while the other is being used.

Soft-Serve Frozen Treats in About 20 Minutes

After the freezer mug has been properly chilled and the ingredients have been prepared, the DASH My Mug can churn a soft-serve style frozen dessert in approximately 20 minutes.

Actual results can vary depending on the recipe, ingredient temperature, freezer performance, and mixture being used.

Built-In Ingredient Chute

The integrated ingredient chute allows users to customize their frozen desserts while the mixture is churning.

Possible additions include:

Chocolate chips
Sprinkles
Fruit
Nuts
Cookie pieces
Cookie dough
Other appropriately sized mix-ins

Larger ingredients should be prepared in suitable pieces before being added.

One-Touch Operation

The My Mug is designed around a simple preparation process. Once the frozen mug and chilled ingredients are ready, the motorized system can churn the mixture with one-touch operation.

This makes the appliance suitable for users who want a straightforward way to make small portions of homemade frozen desserts.

Compact SmartStore Design

The My Mug is designed for kitchens where storage space matters. Its components can nest together for more convenient storage.

This makes it suitable for:

Small kitchens
Apartments
Dorm rooms
Compact countertops
RV-style spaces
Households with limited cabinet space

Eat Directly From the Mug

One of the convenient features of the My Mug design is that the frozen treat can be enjoyed directly from the mug after preparation.

The mug can also be returned to the freezer when additional firmness is desired or when appropriate for storing leftovers.

How the DASH My Mug Ice Cream Maker Works

The process is simple, but proper preparation is important.

Step 1 — Freeze the Mug

Place the freezer mug in the freezer for approximately 24–48 hours before use.

DASH recommends proper freezer preparation because the frozen mug provides the cold surface needed during churning.

Step 2 — Prepare and Chill the Ingredients

Prepare the selected recipe and chill the mixture before using the machine.

DASH’s instructions specifically recommend using chilled ingredients rather than room-temperature or hot ingredients.

Step 3 — Assemble the Motor and Lid

Attach the motor to the lid and make sure the components are properly positioned before beginning.

Step 4 — Add the Mixture

Add the prepared chilled mixture to the freezer mug while following the product instructions and recipe capacity limits.

The manufacturer’s instructions indicate that the My Mug can hold up to 1 cup of liquid mixture and should not be filled beyond that amount.

Step 5 — Churn

Turn the machine on and allow it to churn the mixture.

Soft-serve style results can be ready in approximately 20 minutes, depending on the recipe and conditions.

Step 6 — Add Mix-Ins

Use the ingredient chute to add suitable toppings or mix-ins during the appropriate stage of the churning process.

Step 7 — Enjoy or Freeze Further

The finished dessert can be enjoyed directly from the mug.

For users who prefer a firmer, more scoopable texture, additional freezing can help firm the dessert.

Frozen Treats You Can Make

The DASH My Mug is designed for more than traditional vanilla ice cream.

Create homemade ice cream with your preferred flavors and ingredients.

Gelato-Style Treats

The machine can also be used for homemade gelato-style recipes.

Customer Feedback and Real-World Considerations

The product has received generally positive feedback, with customers often mentioning its compact size, ease of use, small serving format, and the ability to make homemade frozen desserts.

At the same time, customer experiences are not identical. Some users prefer the soft-serve texture immediately after churning, while others prefer freezing the finished dessert for a firmer consistency.

The most important practical consideration is the required freezer preparation. The mugs need to be frozen ahead of time, so this is not a machine that can be taken out of the box and immediately used without preparation.

Some customers also report different experiences with freezing performance, texture, and preparation time. These differences can be influenced by the freezer temperature, ingredient temperature, recipe composition, and how the machine is used.

Tips for Better Results

Freeze the mugs properly: Give the mugs the recommended 24–48 hours in the freezer.

Keep ingredients cold: Use chilled ingredients rather than room-temperature or hot mixtures.

Do not overfill: Follow the manufacturer’s capacity instructions and do not exceed the recommended mixture amount.

Prepare mix-ins: Chop larger ingredients into smaller pieces before using the ingredient chute.

Use tested recipes: Recipes designed specifically for frozen dessert makers can provide more predictable results.

For firmer desserts: Place the finished soft-serve mixture back into the freezer for additional freezing when appropriate.

Keep the mug cold: The mug works most effectively while it remains properly frozen. DASH’s instructions note that the mug is most effective during the first 20 minutes after being removed from the freezer.

Care and Cleaning

The My Mug is designed for relatively simple cleanup.

After use, disconnect and disassemble the appropriate components according to the instructions. The accessories can be removed for cleaning, and the components can be stored inside the mug when dry.

Follow DASH’s current care instructions for cleaning and storage rather than assuming every component is dishwasher safe.

Warranty and Support

DASH’s official product information lists a 1-year manufacturer warranty, with a 2-year warranty available through registration in the Feel Good Rewards program, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. DASH also states that it provides U.S.-based customer support.

Warranty coverage can depend on where the product was purchased, so buyers should verify the current warranty terms and authorized-retailer requirements before purchasing.

Product availability, pricing, delivery options, and shipping eligibility can vary by location, seller, and time.
